Interlude Series

Third Culture Ensemble is committed to bringing music to underserved youth, women, and people with disabilities. This series brings inspiring, intimate chamber concerts to CityMission Laura's Home for Women and Children, Access Shelter, Haven of Ministries, and Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center throughout the year. The programs will range from beloved classical works by Beethoven and Mozart to under-represented works by Florence Price and others such as Montgomery, Golijov, John Lennon, and much more.

Art on Sidewalk
Collage of Voices

TCE presents a chamber music program at shelters and juvenile centers that explores human emotions. The audience are invited to respond to the music through artistic mediums such as drawing, painting, writing, and poetry. This will culminate in a digital compilation of artwork created by the residents at the end of the season.

Students in Music Room
Young Artist Mentorship

TCE invites selected collegiate level musicians to work with us throughout the season. With financial scholarships provided, the students perform alongside the professional musicians who also aim to mentor and share knowledge and insights with them. The students become a part of the TCE team as they curate and present community engagement performances in diverse settings.
